My First Visit
Help for Guests and Visitors

How do I get to the church? North Lanier Baptist Church is located at 829 Atlanta Highway, 1/2 mile south of the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 9 in Cumming, Georgia (exit 14 off of 400).

How do I dress? Some folks wear their "Sunday best" while others wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Sunday and Wednesday evenings are always casual. Don't worry about what you wear - just come expecting to be welcomed warmly into our worship services and Bible studies!

What do I bring? If you have a Bible, bring it with you. It will help you to follow along in worship and in Life Study Groups. If you don't have a Bible, don't worry, we have plenty! If you are a guest, don't worry about bringing an offering.

When do I need to arrive? On Sundays we have Life Study Groups and Worship at 8:30, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. To allow plenty of time to reach the Worship center, you should arrive ten to fifteen minutes prior to the worship or Bible study time.

Where do I park? You may park anywhere you wish, but we reserve plenty of parking for guests. Handicap parking is also available in the upper parking lots. The lower parking lot is largely used by parents of preschoolers.

Where do my children go? North Lanier has an excellent preschool and childrens ministry. Greeters at the children's entrance as well as the Welcome Center just outside the Worship Center will assist you in getting your children to their classes or departments. The preschool and children's classes meet downstairs.

What about security? We take child security seriously. Each child in the preschool department will be registered before entering a Life Study Group class, and both you and your child will be assigned a security tag. The tag will be presented when picking up your child.
