Groups

Life Study Groups are Small Group Bible Studies designed to bring you the fellowship and support that can be found only in smaller, more intimate settings. Below you will find a listing of classes and their locations throughout the building. Greeters will be available in the NLBC Welcome Center to show you to one of a variety of classes. Visit the Welcome Desk and one of our friendly volunteers will be happy to provide you with answers to your questions.

Community
Groups

Welcome to Community Groups at North Lanier Baptist Church. Community Groups are classes which cover a variety of topics and are open to the entire community! Most of these classes are held at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday during the school year. The classes are FREE but a few of them do require the purchase of a book. Upcoming classes which will begin on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 6;30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted.) Register now.

Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 6
First Place Weight Loss
- For women. Based on proven techniques and a track record of 25 years of experience, First Place 4 Health will show you how to create balance in the four core areas of life ... spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical ... leading to weight loss and positive life change. Facilitator: Sally Moilanen.

Quilting - For those who are beginners or experienced quilters. An apportunity to learn and discuss and even practice the different techniques of quilting. A time to share your experiences, why you prefer one technique over another. Facilitator: Rosie Charlton.

GriefShare - Get the support you need from those who understand the grief you are experiencing. Facilitator: Marilyn Faulkner.

I Saw the Lord
- by Anne Graham Lotz and Henry Blackaby. Seven week class. Facilitator: Mary Gegenheimer.

Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 13
He Speaks to Me - Preparing to Hear from God - A study of six characteristics found in the book of Samuel that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God's voice. A simple relationship, a set apart holiness, a still attentiveness, a single minded worship, a sold out hunger, and a servant's spirit. Facilitator: Karen Cleveland.
 
Hope & Help for the Single Mom - You can live a wonderful life as a single mom, one that has purpose & meaning, focus & order, balance & harmony. The 21 Principles of a Healthy Single Mom will encourage you to flourish in every aspect of your life. Facilitators: Barb Reeve & Debbie Shadburn.
